How to make the most out of Google Local Inventory Ads
NearSt shows your in-store items on Google in your See What’s in Store, which allows customers to browse your shop’s full inventory in Google.
Alongside your See What’s in Store, NearSt also offers the option to enable Local Inventory Ads (LIA), starting from just £2 a day. Local Inventory Ads can enhance your NearSt experience by highlighting your products at the top of Google to shoppers searching for them nearby.
There are a number of ways in which you can make your experience with Local Inventory Ads even more exciting!

Understanding Your Reach
Enabling Local Inventory Ads unlocks a number of new and exciting insights that you do not get with See What’s in Store alone. One of these insights is Where your ads are appearing. This includes a graphic representation of where your ads are being seen by local shoppers, as well as a list of where your Local Ads are most popular.
If you would like to expand your radius, or target certain locations, do let us know and we can update this for you.
Learning from product insights
Another great insight that you can find in your MyShop account is recently clicked on, and popular products.
These are always great to keep track of, especially if people are looking for or clicking on a product that you have in low stock. You can see what people are looking for from your store to help you make stock and marketing decisions.
Along with this, you can also find industry insights in MyShop. Similarly to product insights, they highlight the products that are popular - not just at your store - but in stores like yours across the nation.
You can track products that are Quick Risers ie. products that are quickly becoming popular within your industry. You can also keep track of products that you have in stock and products that you hadn’t previously considered that may well be worth stocking.
Clicks to Sales
Another way you can track the impact of Local Inventory Ads is by checking out your Clicks to Sales data in MyShop. We’ll show you when one of your ads has been clicked on and that product has been sold in-store within 24hrs.
Indeed, this is an estimate, and doesn’t account for shoppers purchasing different items when they arrive in store, but it is a great way to keep an eye on what shoppers are engaging with online and then purchasing in-store.
Whilst enabling Local Inventory Ads is a great way to boost footfall and local awareness, you can further enhance this by letting your existing network know they can find your products on Google.
The Resources tab in MyShop has a plethora of sharing tools that you can use to keep people informed, including a printable window poster, social media posts and a QR code that takes shoppers directly to your See What’s in Store.
