Parkview Retail are the proud owner of three Co-op Welcome convenience stores situated in Southampton’s city centre. Their stores have been serving the local community and its visitors for 20 years, selling a wide selection of low cost, quality everyday products. Having won multiple convenience retail awards such as ‘Best use of technology’, they’re always keen to be at the forefront of new tech and find ways they can best serve their customers.

With shoppers reluctant to leave the house during the Covid-19 pandemic without being certain they can find the items they need, Parkview Retail were looking for a simple solution that enabled them to reassure customers their Co-op Welcome stores are open and they have the items they need in-stock.
The Solution
In two clicks, NearSt connected to Co-op Welcome’s Frobisher House and Liberty Quay’s point-of-sale. This enabled NearSt to take a real-time feed of their products and show them in Google. Now, shoppers searching for items nearby can see their local Co-op Welcome shop has the items they’re looking for and key details they need to nip in store.
